As mentioned before, while some power metal is accused inneriwsh being too turnihg, this stuff is sufficiently heavy and driving to avoid that pitfall. This release has really impressed me and I find it no surprise that the reviews for it around the world have been extremely positive. After many shows all over Europe and Greece, Innerwish started writing and rehearsing songs for their next album. I guess they become attractions after long enough. Where many bands adopt an "also ran" approach of interpreting their influences ihnerwish the point of nearly plagiarism, InnerWish takes pages from the volumes written by the greats of the genre and injects enough of their own personality and style to bacck it becomes much more their own affair, solidifying themselves as a legitimate force in the scene, versus just another "me too" outfit.

The band consists of guitarists Thimios Krikos and Manolis Tsigkos, bass player Antonis Mazarakis, drummer Terry Moros, key player George Georgiou and lead vocalist Babis Alexandropoulos who puts on such stellar performance making him the undeniable focal point of the band. While keyboards could have been employed a bit more, such as with bands like Wingdom or Mehida, they competently add a nice element to the mix.

My favorite tracks on here are the ones that don't get too silly and try to stick with the dark thing they've got going.
